The mighty Red Oak is usually 66-98 feet tall. It provides beautiful fall red colours and winter interest since it often keeps its leaves until spring. Since it's such a large tree it needs room to grow. When it's younger the Red Oak can tolerate plenty of shade but as it grows it will need more sun. 

Please note that Red Oak buds are toxic to sheep and cattle.
